God wants to give your kids super incredible strength! Strength to love others. Courage to stand up for what's right. Boldness to share about Jesus. Each week they will strengthen their faith as they learn about our amazing God and what it means to live bravely for Him! This action-packed, full-color devotional for kids ages 6-9 is unique! Each of its 100 devotions includes a relatable story and fun activities on God's truths. It features 200 mind-bending puzzles, word games, and more!

Each week, your kids will get two smashing devotionals that include:

  • A fun, age-appropriate, and relatable story

  • A scripture verse, perfect for memorizing

  • Prayer to read aloud and proud

  • 4 hands-on activities (includes mind-bending mazes, journaling, puzzling word games, drawing, cool crafts, family activities, etc.)

Author Michelle Howe designed this unique devotional just for kids, with input by kids just like you! With the help of her two grandsons, she handpicked Scriptures, activities, and prayers to engage even the shortest attention spans with God's Word and ways.

You don’t have to fly through the air to be a true hero. You ARE a hero when you show God’s love to others.

OUR REVIEWER’S TAKE

Bright, colorful illustrations and photos - all of which fit perfectly with the super hero theme - and fun activities & puzzles not only keep children engaged but will have them excited to stick with their own personal quiet time. Each week features two stories about other kids who bravely face tough situations and how they honor God with their decisions. The accompanying application questions, activities, puzzles, crafts, Bible verses and prayers complement the stories and further enforce the truth for that week. The author tested these devotionals with the help of her two grandsons - and it shows! Nicely geared for the age group, for either boys or girls.

As you can see from the cover and the excerpt provided by Hendrickson Publishers, the layout and content are visually appealing and diverse as well as meaningful. The perfect gift to help your elementary kids start off their new year on the right foot! Capes optional ;)
