Sunday, Nia Sanchez, a 24-year-old beauty from Nevada, was crowned the new Miss USA during the 63rd telecast of the Annual Beauty Pageant. The newest title holder is a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and during the contest, expressed her concern for sexual assault on college campuses. First runner-up for the pageant was Audra Mari, 20, from North Dakota. The competition featured women from all 50 states, and the District of Columbia, who were then judged based on three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview. Sanchez will go on to compete at the International Miss Universe competition later this year. After the tragic shootings last month in Santa Barbara, California, men are starting to step forward to show their support for women’s rights, featuring the hashtag, #AllMenCan. Before the #AllMenCan hashtag took over, the #YesAllWomen campaign started the trend, allowing a safe space for females on Twitter and other social media to talk about their personal experiences with rape, harassment and misogyny. The #AllMenCan hashtag took off on Twitter after PolicyMic editor Elizabeth Plank asked men to show what it meant to be both male and feminist. Men then posted their own photos and messages accompanied by the hashtag, showing their role in the fight for women’s rights. After giving birth to her daughter, Isabelle Amarachi in April, Kerry Washington made her first public appearance on the red carpet Wednesday, looking better than ever. The new mom stunned at Women in Film’s Crystal + Lucy Awards, wearing a Max Mara cocktail dress with a black short-sleeve top and a multicolored skirt. Washington and her husband, former NFL player, Nnamdi Asomugha, married last June, and welcomed their baby girl April 21.

After much speculation from the public, Kourtney Kardashian announced that she and boyfriend Scott Disick are expecting baby number three. On the Sunday premiere of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kourtney confirmed the news. Disick and Kardashian have two other children together, Mason and Penelope.

“Glee” star Lea Michele has started easing herself back into the dating world after the tragic passing of her boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith. Michele has been dating aspiring actor and model, Matthew Paetz, for the past couple of months. The two met on the set of her music video for her song, “On My Way.” Since Monteith’s death last July, Michele has been flying solo, working on her new album, “Louder.”
