In December 2009, the children and Staff of Stepping Stones Child Care attended Disney on Ice at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse. Little did they know at the time, their attendance may have saved their lives. A vehicle crashed into the daycare while they were at the show, causing tremendous damage. Had they been there, they may have been hurt or even killed! But luckily, they were out, and everyone returned home safely that night.

Every year since the accident, the Stepping Stones staff and children (ages 3-6) have attended the show. This year, they were sponsored so that they could attend the event and even had a chance to have lunch with many of their favorite Disney characters. To top it all off, they were able to have a rink side meet and greet with newcomer, Princess Moana!

There was not a dull moment in the show. The children’s eyes were glued to the performers and they sat on the edge of their seats. There were several chances for crowd participation and interaction with the characters so the kids stayed engaged. The lighting, fireworks, and talented cast made this a show worth seeing for audience members of all ages. This show gives those from different generations a chance to revisit their favorite Disney movies. The more classic characters such as Belle and Cinderella were featured as well as more recent favorites Rapunzel, Elsa, and Moana. If you love Disney movies, this is the show for you!
