Roll Out the Red Carpet
It’s that time of year again. Carson Daly and Mindy Kaling announced the nominees for the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Thursday morning, offering up a few shocks. HBO’s Game of Thrones came in with the most nominations, 19, while FX’s miniseries, Fargo claimed the second spot with 18. Other big nominees included Netflix, who garnered 31 total for shows like Orange is the New Black and House of Cards. Shows like Orphan Black and The Walking Dead missed out on nominations despite their popularity among audiences. Saturday Night Live ended up with 14 nominations in the comedy categories, continuing its run as the most Emmy-nominated show in history. Have any favorites? Let us know who you want to win! Have you ever wondered what a baby Ryan Gosling would look like? Well, the wait is over. Gosling and his girlfriend, actress Eva Mendes are expecting their first child together according to multiple reports. Mendes and Gosling, who have been dating since September 2011, are extremely private about their relationship, so it’s no surprise that there hasn’t been any news about the pregnancy, despite the fact that Mendes is seven months along. Though the two haven’t been photographed together in nearly a year, it seems that Gosling and Mendes are going strong. Congrats!
After much speculation, it’s finally official. Rosie O’Donnell will return to The View for their 18th season as a co-host. The show posted confirmation via their Twitter account Thursday morning. Earlier in the week, it was confirmed that the talk show and O’Donnell were close to closing a deal. O’Donnell has been a host previously during the show’s turbulent 2007 season. During that season, she famously exited the show a month before her contract was set to expire. Though she has said in the past that she “didn’t want to argue for a living,” it seems as though her feelings have changed. What do you think of O’Donnell returning to the show?
