3 Ways to Get Started Living the Life You Want
It’s time to stop the negative hemorrhaging and shift your thinking. The truth is you don’t have the life you desire because you haven’t made the decision to, nor have you abandoned, your excuses. Yes, I know, it’s not as easy as it sounds. But, I never said it was easy. That doesn’t mean it isn’t doable. About ten years ago, I was in a deep, dark hole full of negativity, despair, bitterness, anger and pain. I reveled in the fact that I was hurt and I was going to see to it that somebody was going to pay for my hurt and the deep-rooted pain I carried. I wallowed in self-pity and slipped into depression.
It took time, but my hurts and bruises healed and the pain dissipated. It started with a decision.
Lovely one, you might find yourself in a dark and desolate place with no hope. You may go about your “normal” day, yet you feel cut off and isolated from the world. You may be screaming a silent scream in the wilderness, but today you can choose to live your best life now.
Make the Decision Today is the day to make the decision that, as of this moment and from this day forward, you are living your best life. The first step is making the decision to do it. It starts with a choice and a relentless desire to make it so, no matter what.
Faith Faith is a two-part process. It’s the belief that God will always be there to lead, guide and provide for the vision. But it also takes belief in yourself to show up. Faith is the thing you will need when it seems like nothing is working. Faith is the thing you will use to ride the momentum when everything is going great.
It’s not enough to decide to have faith. Creating your best life takes work, but not just busy work, not just doing anything. It takes targeted, consistent action.
Purposeful, Targeted and Consistent Action Nothing gets done if you do nothing. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but you have to get it going. If you want to have amazing things happen in your life, showing up and taking targeted and consistent action is key. Your life exists because you have an assignment, and living on assignment requires you to manage your daily action.
Living your best life now is not just about getting stuff. It’s about living your life by fulfilling your mission and reaching the world by sharing your brand of awesome. Living on assignment is the cornerstone to living your best life. While the ‘stuff’ is wonderful, it’s fun and it makes life better, you will never live your best life until you walk in your purpose with faith, determination and authentic precision.
