“Don’t Stop Believing”

This is a brand new year! Whatever happened (or did not happen) in 2015 is done. It’s over! God brought you through it all. Now, it’s time to look forward to what He has in store for you in 2016! Don’t look back. If things didn’t work out the way you would have liked them to last year, don’t give up. Instead, refocus and rekindle the fire of the dreams that God has placed inside of you today! Proclaim loudly what Philippians 3:13-14 states, “Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Press on! Keep moving forward. Don’t stop believing in what God has planned for you. Whatever dream or vision He has placed inside of you will come to pass in due time. If He deposited something special and unique within you, trust that the withdrawal is coming.

No doubt, waiting on God to bring forth His promises in our lives can be tough. Yet, faith is what brings them back to life! Faith is what awakens you in ways that can blow your mind. Hope rekindles the fire inside of you. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

So even though you may not be able to see what God is doing or planning in your life this very instant, believe by faith and keep hope alive that what God has promised you will happen. In the meantime, do what you know to do, while you let Him bring forth the supernatural. Create that fresh to-do list for each week as you press toward completing new goals. Design that dream or vision board. Write out the vision that God has given you, and trust that He will guide you every step of the way!

Fulfilling your dreams and walking out your destiny is a step-by-step process. It unfolds day by day. It takes time for what you’re hoping for to come into fruition. It’s actually a journey. Along the way, God may take you through the scenic route with all of the beautiful mountain tops and exciting peaks. But there will also be valleys. The valleys are the moments when things seem so low or painful that it may cause you to want to give up or stop believing. But don’t do it.

Don’t stop believing! It’s the valley experiences that prepare you for the mountain top. Get the fire started!
