There are certain times of the year when you can host an intimate gathering for your friends to share experiences and create unforgettable memories! When creating this space, you must set the décor, serve food and play music that will set the tone for your intimate gathering. Here are some ideas:

Décor

The first thing you do is Create the Theme for your intimate gathering. (i.e. Lovers Lane)

Shop for items like (i.e. candles and place settings) to create a table-scape. Use colors (i.e. red and silver) that represent your theme.

Make sure the items you choose are interchangeable for future events, or use what you have collected over time and add other items to enhance your event theme.

Food

When setting a menu for an intimate gathering, you want to serve finger food.

If your gathering is in the late afternoon, around 5 p.m., a salad with or without meat and iced tea is a good idea).

If it’s after 6 p.m., a light dessert bar and champagne, or a cheese and fruit platter and sparkling cider will be great! No heavy or plate-worthy food for this intimate event.

Music

Choose the music that is significant to your theme (Smooth Jazz, Oldies or Instrumental Christian Worship songs are amazing)

Happy Gathering!
