Heidi is a proud mother of 4 wonderful children, and wife to a pastor in Warsaw, Indiana. She has always depended completely on her faith and friends, even through the most difficult of challenges. Having lost her mother when she was 21 to breast cancer, she herself was diagnosed while pregnant at age 38. She continues her battle with cancer but finds joy and embraces every day as a gift from her Lord.

As we walk through the various journeys in life, we begin to welcome a color that heretofore might have been pushed to the back. Gray is, as we age, something that becomes more a part of us. I have made many wonderful friends in my life; all of them seem to be able to weave in and out of time periods and situations as if on cue. They seem to be part of an elaborate, well-planned dance which I am fortunate to witness. Some of them I get to see, visit or talk to every day.
