The road to Hope has been a journey. Rocky, mountainous, spiral, and filled with potholes, the path has taken me on quite a ride. I’ve failed and experienced frustration, and I’ve cried many tears behind closed doors. But despite the caseload of challenges I have faced since launching Hope in May 2005, I’ve never stopped treading.
I’ve bumped my head, scraped my toe, and hit that not-so-comical funny bone a time or two. There were times when it seemed that all I had was hope and a prayer, standing upon the wings of faith, and seasons when the downs outweighed the ups and the bad outshined the good. Sure, it would have been easy to throw in towel, but I chose to persevere – and continue to choose so – because I have a great commission, to inspire hope for women across the world.
Has it been easy? Of course not. Have I made my share of mistakes? You bet I have. But for the wisdom I’ve gained and the enlightenment I’ve attained – about life, about myself, about God, about business – I wouldn’t trade one day of the past eight years for anything else.
The journey to Hope has surely been tough, but it’s my path, my road to destiny, and I’ve learned to enjoy the ride. Now, I’d like to take you along with me. Every Monday, beginning March 18, 2013, I’m inviting you to have a front seat as we take the scenic route on the road to Enjoying Hope with Angelia.
You’ll learn all about the history of the woman, the road, and the inspiration that leads to Hope.
Buckle up!
Enjoying Hope,
Angelia White
