Have you ever been through anything? Of course you have. We all have. The blessing is that you’re still here to testify about it! It may not have been comfortable to go through but you made it! Do not to be discouraged during the hard times but trust Him that He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you can ask or think. God has to send us through tests for us to have a testimony. Think about how that testimony will encourage others around you. God will use your tests to bring others to Him. He is using you whether you realize or not. We may not always know how He is working and why He allows us to go through various trials on our lives. We have to move out of His way and let Him work especially in the challenging times! There is sure to be a treasure at the end.
We should “glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:3-5)
Discomfort is what births a new season in our lives!
Think about the birth of a child. The pain that a mother goes through is necessary to birth the treasure that is her child. When one has surgery, the discomfort must happen in order for the healing to take place. The same applies for any challenge or trial that we face. The going through is what molds us into the women that God calls for us to be! The coming out is God showing us that He’s always with us and that He is faithful!
God never promised us that we wouldn’t have storms but He did promise us that He would bring us through them! Problems and disappointments are inevitable. They will come and come again. Today I’m here to encourage you to appreciate and embrace the trials that you face. Keep God at the center of your life, encourage yourself by speaking His Word over you and trust Him to bring you out!
Trials come with a promise and that promise is deliverance.“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10). Hold steadfast to God’s promise for your life. “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12). This is God’s promise to bring you through and allow you to give birth to your treasure. Your “latter” is destined to be greater than your past! The Lord knows that we wouldn’t be fully grateful for our greatest blessings if we didn’t have to go through stuff to get to them! Stay on the pathway to your blessings even through your trials.
For one moment, think about any storm that you’ve faced. Weren’t you a better person in some way because of it? Don’t you value the treasure that was birthed out of your uncomfortable place? God has a plan and sometimes His plan includes putting us in uncomfortable places. He wants us to show Him that we trust Him. He wants us to put our faith in action and let Him take the driver seat of our lives. Embrace the trials that come your way and get ready to birth the treasure that is sure to come! Stay encouraged and be blessed!
Sending Hope Your Way!
