A New Perspective

“You can’t see the forest for the trees.”  ~Nicholas Sparks

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines ‘perspective’ as “the capacity to view things in their true relations or relative importance.”

Sometimes you can be too involved in a situation that you cannot think or see clearly. There will be times you will need to take a step back from the noise and challenges of life to get a proper perspective. When you do, you will find that oftentimes things are not as bad as they seem.

You have made it halfway through the year and I am sure there have been some teaching moments during the first six months of the year. However, what you choose to do with those moments will manifest as you complete the last half of the year.

A new perspective can bring fresh thoughts and ideas that you were once unable to filter through because you were too close to properly see. A new perspective can bring newfound energy compared to feeling drained and exhausted previously, as how you view things can be half the battle.

As you complete the remainder of this year, I hope you complete it with joy and excitement, expecting remarkable things to happen for you. If you have not done so by now, I would like to encourage you to take a moment and give yourself a break from what may be a little confusing or clouding your view on things. Rest your mind and body without feeling guilty and when you choose to step forward you might just find yourself feeling like you have a new lease on life.
