Women Wednesday with Jennifer Magley

#womenwednesday

Across all Hope's social media platforms, this biweekly series will highlight inspiring women to know.

Hope Magazine is a team of thinkers, seekers and creatives who find inspiration in movement, exploration and sisterhood. We want to create meaningful relationships inspired by real women and their stories - all designed for the way you live today!

Meet Jennifer Magley, Motivational Speaker, Technical Recruiter, and Former Professional Athlete and NCAA Division I Head Coach.

Having spent over a decade helping successful people become unstoppable, she has received national media coverage most notably by US News & World Report, CNN, ESPN, USA Today, Foundr Magazine and Thrive Global.

In 2021, she was the Host for the United Nations Global Film Festival, the Master of Ceremonies for the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon and was named "Woman of the Year" by Pass the Torch for Women Foundation.

Her leadership fable How to be Queen was released last spring and is a top selling book for Archway Publishing. She is also a mother who finds it thrilling to watch her young sons play sports and build things out of paper.

Do you have a life motto or quote you live by?

It is six words: I help successful people become unstoppable.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by how the future is uncapped. My 8 year old once asked me, "What's stopping you mom, really, what is stopping you?" and I think he is right — we can be unstoppable.

A fun fact about yourself:

As a recruiter, I reach out to about 50+ people a day. Most people don’t know that this is actually a habit I have been doing for years. I believe that the power of our network lies in the fearless quality of an ask. I love studying how, what and when to ask questions.
