Sweet Healthy Treats

Month two of 2023 is here and you are following your intentions with discipline. So with Valentine’s Day and the Super Bowl here you want to maintain the progress you have made while still treating yourself. Valentine's Day comes around every year and it's candy, and treats galore. Other options are available that you do not have to feel guilty about, especially not participating or partaking. You can treat yourself AND maintain your lifestyle choices.

 

Ingredients

  • 10 oz of dark chocolate chips

  • 11 oz of white chocolate chips

  • ½ cup of trail mix/nuts

  • Shredded coconut to taste

  • Pretzels

 

Recipe

Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler. (If you are in a hurry follow microwave melting instructions on the packaging.) Then pour in a parchment paper or aluminum foil lined sheet pan and spread out evenly.

Next, melt white chocolate using the same method. Slowly pour small dollops of white chocolate onto the dark chocolate. Then use a skewer or chopstick to swirl the white chocolate with the dark chocolate.

Sprinkle the additional ingredients over the top and let set/hardened.

Then break it into pieces! Enjoy! You deserve it!
