Looking for something fun to do during the holiday season or while on winter vacation? Here are some big events throughout the US that are sure to provide an unforgettable experience! 

  

DETROIT

Arrived. Photography Exhibition, November 11-13

Three local Detroit artists present photographic works in a space that is "not only fair and inclusive but also one that fosters community and equity." The photographers will present 3-4 pieces each to be auctioned off, with half of the proceeds supporting local nonprofit Amplify Outside.  

  

Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Detroit, Throughout November and December 

Viewers are literally immersed into Van Gogh's iconic works, surrounded by more than 500,000 cubic feet of animated projections that envelop his landscapes, still-life portraits and nighttime scenes. A perfect event for families, date night or that solo vacation you keep postponing. 

  

An Intimate Evening with Tyrese, November 13

Sound Board venue, known for its small and intimate performance space for up to 2400 people, presents R&B legend Tyrese. This is an age-restricted event with casino and dining entertainment beforehand. 

 

NASHVILLE 

Musiq Soulchild, November 25-26 

City Winery presents four opportunities to see 90s and 2000s R&B wonder Musiq Soulchild. With roots in soul, funk and hip-hop, he is as much storyteller as he is musician. 

  

The Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle, Opens November 19 

From the creators of Immersive Van Gogh, the same concept of projection paired with the quintessential holiday soundtrack and lights show will drop you right into the center of the beloved holiday classic ballet. 

 

HOUSTON 

Tribeville Music Festival, November 26 

Tribeville is a music concert series that celebrates Black Music from across the world. With Houston being a significant city for Black Americans and Black immigrants, this showcase of Afrobeats, Soca and Dancehall music is very special to both the local and larger communities. 

  

Houston Cinema Arts Festival, November 10-17 

The 14th annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival takes place at venues throughout the city and will include a wide variety of curated feature films with a focus on the diverse cultural community of Houston. 

 

CHICAGO 

An Intimate Evening with Trey Songz, Ginuwine & Lloyd, November 19 

Three of R&B's smoothest crooners come together for an unforgettable one-night experience. A great destination stop for that girls' trip your whole squad needs!

  

The Lion King, November 17 – January 14 

The six-time Tony Award winning show based on the beloved Disney classic animated film is brought back to life at Chicago's historic Cadillac Palace Theater.
