10 Designers to Follow for Eat, Sleep, Retreat (and Repeat) Inspiration

The meaning of home and what makes it such has been enhanced over the past two years or so. No longer do we view it as the place we land after a hard day’s work, we now view it as a place of safety and hearth, deserving of a little attention.

The following 10 Black women interior designers featured below articulate what a home means to women. They know we care about the space we cook and share meals, sleep and retreat for peace and comfort in.

Note that the women chosen represent the Midwest, the South and places culturally important to who we are and were, historically. You’ve seen some on TV or not, but we invite you to follow them on Instagram to find inspiration that meets your aspirations, whether you decide on a total redesign or choose to add a new piece or two to punch up what already exists.

Introducing 10 designers, 30 designs and an abundance of style.
