Facing Fear with Faith
Fear can be crippling and a reason you miss out on opportunities that could be life changing. It has a way of keeping you entrapped in a cycle that yields very little growth and inspiration. Fear pulls on you until you find yourself sitting comfortably in a zone where everything is familiar, and you feel is safe. However, I want to encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone where amazing things await you.
Life is a gift from God that takes you on a journey and sometimes part of that journey includes taking calculated risks. Fear is natural and at some point every person will face it. In your moments of fear, face it with faith. Fear does not come from God. There really are no limits with Him, so do not place limits on Him or yourself.
Henry Ford once said, “One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.”
I’ve personally struggled with the fears of rejection and disappointment, but one of the best ways I’ve overcome those areas was to walk by faith and not by my fears of what I thought would happen. Facing fear with faith will assist you in forming relationships that can be an intricate part of your next level development. When you fear that everyone is out to use you or hurt you, you cheat yourself out of what could be lifelong partnerships or the vehicle that God uses to get you to a place of purpose.
As we enter the last part of the year, let us all work to face our fears with faith for He Who promises is faithful . I know on the other side of fear great things awaits all of us if we are only willing to face our fears with faith.
