But God Is Faithful
~Whose Report Will You Believe?

And He said, “Who told you that you were naked?” Genesis 3:11, NKJV
In the above scripture, Adam and Eve have listened to the enemy and now find themselves naked, afraid and hiding from the presence of God Himself! You know the story, the serpent deceives Eve and both she and Adam eat from the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden.
God comes down to the garden for His normal stroll with the two of them - and they’re hiding from Him! God calls for Adam, and says, “Adam, where are you?” Adam then appears before the Lord and says, “I was afraid BECAUSE I was naked, so I hid myself from You”. But wait a minute, Genesis 2:25 says that Adam and Eve, both, were naked and were NOT ashamed. So what’s different now, why are they ashamed? They’ve listened to the devil!
God said to Adam, “Who told you that you were naked?”
When we decide to be like Adam and listen to what the enemy says instead of the Word of God; fear comes in, and we don’t even want to fellowship with the Lord! Instead, we sit around agreeing with the devil and saying things that God NEVER said about us! I’m sure God is asking us;
“Who told you that you’d never make it?”
“Who told you that you were a loser?”
“Who told you that you aren’t loved?”
“Who told you that you aren’t beautiful?”
“Who told you that your son would never get saved?”
“Who told you that you’d never stop drinking?”
WHO TOLD YOU??
Whenever you start calling yourself things God never said, go straight to Romans 8 and see, what in fact, He did say about YOU!
Romans 8:28 tells you that ALL THINGS are working together for your GOOD - not some things, but everything! Verse 29 says that not only did God foreknow you, but…
He also predestined you to be conformed to the image of His Son, and not only are you predestined, but you’re also called!
And not only are you foreknown by God, predestined by God, and called by God – but He’s also justified you!
And not only are you justified by God, but you’re also glorified by Him!
AND IF THAT WEREN’T ENOUGH!
Verse 31 asks if God is with you, then WHO can be against you?
Verse 32 says that God will freely give you all things!
Verse 33 says that you’re God’s elect!
Verse 34 says that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God PRAYING FOR YOU!
Verse 35 says, WHAT ON EARTH CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST?????!!!
Shall tribulation?
Shall distress?
Shall persecution?
Or famine?
Or nakedness? (there’s that word again!)
Or peril?
Or sword?
And it doesn’t stop there! Verse 37 tells you that yet IN all of these things, you are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR through Him who loves you!
AND IF THAT WEREN’T ENOUGH! Paul goes on to say in verses 38 and 39 that he’s PERSUADED that neither;
Death,
Nor life,
Nor angels,
Nor principalities,
Nor powers,
Nor things present,
Nor things to come,
Nor height,
Nor depth,
Nor ANYTHING CREATED shall be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!!
Adam listened to the devil, fear came in and he hid from God’s presence because of his nakedness, but Romans 8:35 says that nakedness CANNOT separate you from the love of Jesus.
Now, whose report will you believe?
